Our story

The Aura of Nepal lives in every stitch.

Kathmandu sits 1,400 metres above the noise, where prayer flags carry mantras down the alleyways of Thamel and the mountains keep score of everything.

We started Nepora here in 2026 with a simple conviction: the things you wear should hold the place they came from. Every drop is designed in the Valley, cut by hands that learned the craft from their parents, and numbered — because a garment made with intention should never be infinite.

Wear it to the summit or the sidewalk. It carries the same thing either way.

The strength of Shiva

Pieces built for the push — heavyweight fleece, storm seams, graphics that hit like a kettledrum. Armor for the climb.

The calm of Buddha

Pieces built for the pause — soft cottons, cloud dyes, nothing that shouts. A sanctuary you can put on.

Made with intention, kept for life.

Fast fashion sells you a season. We build the opposite — a slower loop between the hands that make and the people who wear.

Fabric with a memory
Cotton sourced across the Terai, knitted in Bhaktapur, pre-washed in Himalayan water so it fits the same on day one and day four hundred.
Finished by hand
Every hem passes through a pair of hands in our Thamel atelier. Small batches of forty to two hundred pieces — never more.
Numbered, not mass-made
Each garment carries its number in the run. When a size sells through, the piece is retired to the archive.
Repaired for life
Tear it, burn it, outgrow it — send it back. We mend it and return it, because legacy is not disposable.

Worn well

Unedited words from people who order, wear and come back. We publish the middle ones too.

The weight of the cotton tells you everything. This is the first Nepali brand that feels like it belongs in any city on earth.

Ordered on Friday, wearing it Sunday morning in Pokhara. The fit is exactly what the atelier promised over the phone.

Finally pieces with our own frequency — Himalayan, but completely now. The hoodie has not left my back since the drop.

Good to know

Questions, answered

The things people ask before their first order — straight answers, no hedging.

How do Nepora sizes run?

True to size, cut a little boxy on the shoulders — the Himalayan silhouette. Every product page lists the exact garment measurements, and if you are between sizes the atelier will answer with real numbers, not a screenshot: send your chest and length in centimetres to hello@nepora.com or through the contact page.

Do you really take cash on delivery everywhere?

Yes — nationwide, all 77 districts. You pay the courier at your door. We confirm every order by phone before dispatch, which is also how we keep fake orders out of the system without asking you to prepay.

How fast is delivery?

Kathmandu Valley: 1–2 days. Major towns: 2–3 days. Hill and remote districts: 3–5. Orders confirmed before 1 PM dispatch the same working day, and everything over Rs. 5,000 ships free.

What if the size or the piece is wrong?

Seven days, unworn, tags on — exchange or refund, your call. Size swaps are free inside the Valley, and anything that arrives damaged or incorrect is fixed at our full cost. The details live in the Returns & Refunds policy.

How often do drops happen?

Every eight to ten weeks, around 120 pieces at a time. Sign up for the frequency below and the drop announcement reaches you before the public link does.

Where are the clothes actually made?

In our own atelier in Kathmandu — cut, sewn, dyed and printed there. Fabrics are combed cotton, linen and brushed fleece; trims are sourced locally wherever they meet spec. If a piece is not made in Nepal, it does not carry the mark.
